The former Swarovski Habicht Nova is every bit as sharp as the present PV/PH series. The only difference being a very light yellowish tint of the image. My son-in law's Mauser 66 carries a 1,5-6x42 Nova and it serves splendidly.

I would expect one in good condition to make around £250 on ebay UK.

That's about $500. No idea what it might make in the US. Watch ebay for a few weeks.

How much is a new 6x36 Leupold In the US? Realistically, you could ask a bit more for a second hand Swaro than a new Leupold, but not much more.
