Thinking of putting one on an AR type 308.

1.5-6x-42mm Riflescope w/ 30mm Tube & Illuminated

I just picked up the 4.5-14X42 version of the MTAC. Pretty impressive. At 14X it is on par with my Vortex Viper PST at 14X, and a little sharper than my Nikon Monarch set at 14X.

Very solid feel to the scope. Defined clicks on the turrets, and they are not too tall.

Not a direct answer since it is a different model, but I would expect good things from the lower mag version based on my scope.
