I went to the range yesterday with my new Howa 1500 in 6.5x55. Let off a few rounds at 50 yds to get the rifle on paper to my amazement with the scope wound right up it was still shooting 12" low. Maybe the scope is broken or may be the mounts are wrong. I have a weaver 35 top mount base in front and at the back 36 top mount base are they right? The 36 mount seems to be a bit high. What do you think? thanks Hutzpah

don't know if those are the right bases, but if your still shooting low the rear base needs to be higher or the front base base needs to be lower.
