Patriot76,

Leupold has an easier sight picture on high powers thus more forgiving eyebox

the swaro @ 10x is not as easy to get the eye lined up

Care to explain why the Swaro is supposedly more difficult to use as I can't say I have ever noticed this as a particular problem...

I've used a 3-12x50mm Swaro PH since they first came out and its been faultless even in the worst of British weather!

A few weeks ago, on the strength of this, I went to buy a 2.5-10x42mm PH and was dismayed to find it had been discontinued..I looked at the Z6, but wasn't keen on the reticule...

Eventually, I bought a Zeiss Victory 2.5-10x42mm with a heavy No 4 reticule and the new extra hard rainguard type lens coating.

Cosmetically, I think the Swaro's look a touch nicer, but optically the Zeiss is superb...The Zeiss also has a touch more eye relief than the Swaro PH although not as much as the Z6..

Regards,

Pete
