What rings fit Talley bases?

I'm shooting my 375 H&H with a 2.5-8X Leupold on it and want to use a higher power scope for more load testing at 300 yards (finer hold to take out the aiming error).

Is there another make of rings that will fit the Talley bases?

I have a bunch of different rings and don't want to pay $60 - $80 for another set of Talley rings if something mounted on a higher power scope will already work.

Good luck with this one.
So far I have not found anything else that works.

I'd probably just spring for a set of Burris Signature dual dovetail rings and bases with the posi-line inserts. I like them better than Talley's anyway, and you'll only be out about $60 total.

Thanks but I didn't want to pull the Talley bases off of my Model 70. So far they have worked really well in re-zeroing the scope when I remove and replace it.

I just wanted to put another set of rings on the existing bases.

You are going to have to pop for the Talleys.

I talked to Dave a couple days ago. He is enjoying retirement, and trying to corner the market on Winchester M1873's in 22 rimfire.

The old Kimber square bridge mounts may very well work, but good luck finding them at a price lower than Talley's. There are often Talley's on Ebay or forums like this.

I agree!! The Burris signature rings are tough to beat. They grip the scope better, or at least as well as the most meticulously lapped set of rings, plus they won't leave a mark on the scope.

I have been replacing all the rings on my rifles with these. Only got a few more to go..

fwiw,
I'd buy another set of Talley rings for my higher powered scope and KNOW that I was testing loads and NOT mounts. Kenny Jarrett uses Talley TNTs on his $10K custom Long Ranger among others and they are known for shooting bugholes even for a sporter. How much will it cost you in ammunition, even handholds, to sight your 2.5-8x36 back in after you've taken the rings off to swap back and forth... I think you are jumping over a dollar to pick up a nickel... Respectfully.

Regards, Matt.

Btw, Old Kimber rings became Warne Premiers and they are NOT compatible with Talley bases. Heck even Dakota rings and bases, made by Talley for Dakota, are NOT compatible with regular Talleys...

Those old Kimber or Brownells won't work with Talley bases..Only Talley's work with Talleys.

I wish I had about 5 more sets of those wonderful old Brownell QD rings and bases..My all time favorite...
