Larry,

I'm kind of in the dark on your question. New info on old Weavers? What do you have in mind as to the kind of info you are looking for?

I purchased a new in the box, Weaver K-1 (mfg. in the early '60s) with post and crosshair reticule. I notice a very small "bubble" that is PERFECTLY centered on the ocular lens. It is SO perfectly centered which leads me to beleive that it is supposed to be there. Once four inches of eye relief is attained it is not noticable. I have all the paperwork which makes no mention of this bubble.
Could it be that it is there to aid center of the reticule for sight in?
Does anyone have any knowledge, or is this just a flaw?
Thanks, ldkier
