I just bought a pair of 10x42 Geovids from SWFA and they are unbelievable!

With that said, the only thing I miss about my Swarovski SLC's are the winged eye cups, which definetly blocked out unwanted light and images.
Leica does not seem to have them as an accessory....Do any of you have them, or any ideas for this??

Much appreciated, Thank You

Hey Wolfgar

I have a pair and do not think Leica makes them. The eye cups on the Geovids are good in that they click up into place and don't get pushed down as easy. I have another pair of Steiner's that have the winged eye cups and I would have to say that they are harder to use in cold weather since they hold the heat from your eye sockets in and fog up readily.

The Geovids are awesome. The depth of field makes looking through them seem much more in 3D than the flat image of the SLC.

Woods, I agree they are incredable! I traded in my SLC's and paid off the balance for the Geovids, I'm so happy that I did.
The SLC's are great too, but I think optically the Geo are better. Along with the rangefinder, they can't be beat!
