Leuppold Vari-x III 1.75-6x that fits and works fine. If I changed it would probably be to something 2-8 or similar power maybe one of the Conquests, unless I had too much money sitting around then S&B. The smaller Leupold really does look good on the rifle though.

I've used a Swaro 1.7x10 and a 1x6 swaro.

I really wish someone would make a straight tube 1x10 high quality scope. The tech is there and I think the demand is there. Come on someone make it.

I agree 100%
I have a 2.5-8 Leupold VX-III in Talley QD's on my .375, my brother has a 3.5-10 on his.
This is very similar to the scopes we have on our Elk rifles (3-9's and 3.5-10's). I used to have a 1.5-5 Leupold on mine but two things were a problem:
1. I felt short changed on the magnification at the top end.
2. I could see my front sight on lower powers and it bugged the heck out of me.
The 2.5-8 on it now is perfect for me and my uses. Figure out what your real use for the rifle is and scope it accordingly.

I would scope the 375 H&H depending on what type hunting will be done with it. If I will hunt DG ( which I do ) I scoped mine with a Leupold VX III 1.5 to 5. Quick and sure on DG when on a low setting & sufficiant to 300 yards with practice & a rest on any of the deer sized or larger game. If I was NOT hunting DG, then a Leupold VX III in 2.5 to 8 would be my choice.
