anyone have experience with this "floating" reticule, can you pick it up quickly, like on a moving shot.

Finally googled it and I guess it is OK.

It is, of course, an etched graticule, which may be stronger than some wire reticles. Leupold used to prefer the latter, claiming they could not be blighted by fungus. I doubt that's much of an issue now with O-ring sealing but every lens surface does reduce light transmission.

I don't mind the Christmas tree and find it less distracting than the circle BDC on my Nikon Monarch 4-16×. It won't be as good as an old German #1 reticle in deep woods but might be OK for general use.

Can you get it in their Posi-Lock scopes? That is a concept I do applaud.
