I just bought a Zeiss conquest 3-9x40 rapid-z600 for my 338 winmag to replace the nikon prostaff that is on it now. I was told the 600 recticle is for 30-06 similar trajectories. I was just wondering if anyone has used this recticle with a 338 winmag since it has a similar trajectory as the 30-06?

Does Zeiss provide the subtensions of that reticle with the scope when u get it? If so just run a ballistics program for your load and u can see how close it will probably be. I'd imagine it's very close to the Pride Fowler Industries RR 600 reticle since they designed both. Here's the vertical subtensions of the RR 600 i have--

300 stadia line=2.35 MOA
400=5.06
500=8.08
600=11.41
