I spent about 4-1/2 years in the Army-Infantry. After working a few small jobs I spent 13 years working for Koch Industries Refinery at home in Corpus. I currently work for UOP as a Chief Technical Advisor dealing with petroleum and petrochemical processes. My current job affords plenty of opportunities for travel but none of panned out for hunting. Like eveyone else I'm looking for the job that will pay the bills, feed the three kids, pay for hunting and allow me time to hunt.

25 plus years of law enforcement, now serving as a Captain/Chief Pilot for our Dept of Natural Resources (Conservation Officer) aviation program flying helicopters and bush planes, chasing bad guys and counting critters.

Really it's too much fun to get paid for and it supports my hunting habits!

I was in law enforcement for 21 years and retired as the lieutenat in homicide/robbery of a department with about 135 officers. I also owned a taxidermy shop part time until retirement and then went full time with it for 4 years - sold it and went back into law enforcement with a different department.

Right now I'm a school resource officer in a high school of 2300 kids. By far, it's the BEST job I've ever had!! I absolutely love it!

Between the 4 years from retirement to going back in, I divorced one and married another. The latest is a very successful sugar mama . . . er . . . real estate agent.

I have been a Police Officer for 29+ years, the last 22+ on the Tactical [SWAT] Team. We are a full time team. While I have been a Sniper and Rifle instructor for the entire 22+ years I have also served as Assistant Squad Leader, Entry Team Leader, Chemical Agent Specialist, and Negotiator. I am currently the Senior Member of the team.
I plan on retiring in Feburary of 2006.
30 years is long enough.
I return to Africa in March of 2006.

I'm an investigator for a professional regulatory agency. I like it, but really, I work to live, not live to work.

And, last year I bought my first rental property - a duplex. Live in one and rent the other. Two weeks ago, my fiance and I bought a house for us, and we're keeping her's for a rental as well. So, I guess I'm a real estate tycoon, too!! Hopefully, we'll acquire a few more properties and in ten years, I can retire to manage the properties full time.

I am an airline pilot for one of the MORE financially challenged major US airlines.

Since 9-11 the pay pretty much sucks but I can get from Denver to Harare on passes and back for under $600.00

I am also work as a booking agent for a firm here in Colorado and am a hunting guide in NM and CO and do some writing on the side. "Flowery" writing according to one of our more distinguished members here at ARL.

Semi-chronologically... Marine naval aviator (A-4 Skyhawks), private practice of law, prosecutor, trial attorney Corps of Engineers, chief public defender, Judge (retired)... now trying to make a buck or two back in private practice to send two daughters to college and make a couple of trips to Africa every year. Alas, I can't seem to keep a job.

I'm a drug pusher, been selling for 23 years. I've sold enough on my days off to pay for my first Africa trip in 18 days! Hee Hee! I can't wait! I even have a license from the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy that says I'm allowed to sell drugs!
