Confused Has anyone had a problem accessing, and/or posting on the RIFLE forums? I can bring up the postings, but there is no way to reply, or post on any of them. The format is all wrong as well, with no edit, quote,or reply buttons! This may be that I just installed a new computer, and the problem may be on my end of things! Confused

I had those problems in the past.

Check your LAN settings under "tools/internet connections/connections/Lan Settings/ On this I must have the proxy setting box checked for everything to work correct.

Good Luck cheers

Well folks, I,ve done everything I know how to do, to no avail! This section of forums works fine, but any of the other catagories comes up in "PRINTABLE" form, with no way to post, or reply! This is the only web site with this problem, all others work fine! So it seems on this website, it is going to be HUNTING ONLY!

Have you deleted any Accurate Reloading cookies and tried again? Sometimes I have a problem if my computer coughs up a hairball instead of shutting down properly, and usually I have to delete the AR cookies and log in again.

Yes, that was the first thing I did when I couldn't post on Big Bore, or Double rifle forums. Without those two, this web-site is useless to me. I do a lot more rifleing, than I do hunting these days, as most here do! I could put just about everything I have to say about "MY" hunting each year in five paragrapfs, and that's saying something for me!

Don't know what the problem is, but it is frusterating as hell! thumbdown

Mac,

I did see your message from day one, but, as you mentioned you were using a new computer, I could not think of any way I could help you.

Normally this sorty of thing can be sorted out by deleting the cookies and Intyernet history.

But, on a new computer, you won't havfe any cookies nor history from this site!

I am really sorry, but, I am not sure what to suggest to sort your problem out.

May be some of our members who are more computer literate might help.

You dont know how true that might be!

I'll try hooking my old computer back up, and see if it works with it, if it does, then it has to be the computer. Confused

Mac, what browser are you using?

I'd suggest Firefox if you are not doing so, and Opera is also a good one but I haven't used it in a few months so have no experience with what the new one is, I'm sure they must have a new version out by now.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

Mac

Delete your cookies.

Delete your temporary internet files.

"Eve" the program AR uses is very very JAVASCRIPT heavy so make sure that is enabled.

You may have to decrease your security settings on IE or Firefox if they are set too high. Alternatively you may need to setup the domain AR uses as a "trusted" domain.

Some of these may work.

If not shoot your new PC, they make fine double rifle targets for a right and a left. Big Grin
