It looks like my government in its infinite concern for your and my health has further restricted imports of ungulate trophies. I always took posession of all trophies myself from the air freight airline. Now I am told bu USDA that this is not possible. For people interested, here is a link to the new (3/06) rules: USDA rules specifically for buff etc table 3-17-10 All imports from countries designated to have BE: All Entries are REFUSED. From countries like TZ with NO BE,ONLY designated ,approved entities can import . I was able to get a list of the approved outfits: a few taxidermist that hoped thru the loops in the past. They typically dont do go to the airport and pick up the goodies, but involve a "broker".He in turn charges another 300$+ to do so. Possibly its time to leave the trophies and come back with memories - assuming one has nice memories :> Bottom line, for anyone waiting to import his trophies, better research the import logistics. | ||

I was under the opinion that you could still have the taxidermy done there and then shipped here.....am I wrong here? /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
