Anyone shipped anything from Zim lately? Suggestions for a shipping company?
Anyone had any experience with Taxidermy Enterprises?
Has anyone tried to use their own shipping company?
Thanks in advance.

Andy gets my vote. Or you could try T.C.I.(Trophy Consultants International).

Andy Hunter! He arranged for my leopard & zebra to be shipped from Bulawayo to Harare for dip & pack an to the States. He got them on June 15 and less than 90 days later it was at the tannery in the U.S. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

Another vote of confidence for Andy Hunter. I shot my leopard last May and it is already back in the states. That was less than 5 months.

TCI ( trophy consultants international ) have upped their game considerably with new driven management and first class facilities, they get my vote hands down, in fact I wouldn't hesitate to say that they have one of the fastest turn arounds in Zimbabwe these days.

Mine are in process,
So far TCI has been on the spot. Connumication has been timely and professional. Well see about the turnaround on the dip and pak.

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

I used Andy in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Leopard, lion, zebra, kudu, elephant, buffalo, etc. Every shipment was completed without incident in record time. According to my taxidermist, Lyons and O'Haver, the quality of packing was second to none. He is also a superlative PH. Especially for dangerous game. Another vote for Andy Hunter.

My Zim trophies from July are in the hands of Intercon Freight, and should be shipped by week-end. If there are any problems, I will post them. Andy Hunter was in camp with me for several days, and seemed to be a capable fellow, and respected by the Chifuti pros.

I have limited experience with Andy (through clients), but if they were my trophies, I would contact him and give him the shipment.

Just remember, if anything ever goes wrong with your shipment, it's the booking agents fault.
