Hi All,

I Went a bit postal on the warties this year and ended up with 6 sets of tusks. What I decided in the end was to just get the 6 Sets of tusks mounted on a sheild with a peice of brass between them each.

I've seen this done with a single set of European Boar tusks but not with Warthogs. Has anyone done anything similar that could post a picture?

Rgds,

I originally thought about doing a placque or shield, but settled for a nicely done shadow box.

Here is a plaque Michel Vaillier, taxidermist, makes for me.

The smaller the tusks, the cheapest the plaque.

Bet I saved much money. Wink

Thanks Guys.

I got the confo this morning from Safari Taxidermy. Those little fellas keep costing me money!!!

JB,

That looks like a very symetrical set of tusks. I think mine will be a little more scrappy than that.

Blank,

They must have been a couple of nice old boars.

Best regards,
