My local PM (new to the post) is a Vet and l would have thought an educated and honest man who works with and on behalf of animals should have a better understanding, yet when l emailed him regarding the supposed DEFRA review l received what amounted to a "The Powers That Be Have Decided!!" reply even before entries for review had closed.
When l pointed out to him that the main part of his reply was identical to another received by a friend from another county (different MP) all went quiet from his end.
He no longer replies to any of my emails, and l no longer receive the standard House of Parliament receipt reply.
l feel ashamed of the lot of them!!

Here in the Republic of Colorado, a subset to California and safe harbor to Californians with money, people care more for those "rescue" dogs than babies....

They fight for abortion but want to save cur dogs....

We abide by the CITES convention and it seems that they are ignoring the scientific evidence that is obviously favorable to trophy hunting, its so frustrating

I believe that if all countries who subscribe to CITES simply stuck to what is agreed at CITES, we wouldn't have all of this bullshit happening all the time. Unfortunately the UK, countries in the EU and the US of A think they know better and throw additional wrenches into the mix to screw things up. For some reason these other countries always think they know what is best...which makes one wonder what the purpose of CITES is in the first place.

Funny enough, the US is one of the biggest countries that does NOT follow CITES recommendations.

The USFW make their own rules as they go along.
