Ronald S Newman, aka., Widowmaker416
Does anyone have any up to date contact information on him. He posted alot on here a few years ago then skipped town from NJ with quite a bit of taxidermy items of mine (and other's) an moved to Old Ranch road, Colorado Springs, Colorado. I've given up hope of reclaiming my capes but would like to be a pain in his ass or flatten his nose if I can locate him again.

Was wondering the same thing!!

Ron hunted with me several times and we had some good laughs. Even took the world record Civet Cat together.

Promised to send me a warn winch as a gift after many hunts with me then he fell off the side of the earth...

Enjoyed his company on Safari but wish he would have been straight with me.

Cheers
Brent

Cripers he's been an ass on both sides of the ocean. S.O.B. took off with a 61" kudu of mine among other things. I am aware of his property purchase in Colrado Springs a few years ago when I tracked him down via my attorney and was able to get an animal or two out of that deal but he never produced others such as the kudu.

I'm a taxidermist in NJ not far from where he was located. I hear so much bad stuff about this guy that I can't believe that someone hasn't kicked his ass yet! I met him a few times and he always told me how busy he was but I guess he was full of shit. He did the worst taxidermy work EVER! Sounds like if he is ever caught that with all of these charges of stealing trophies that he should go to prison. Last I heard he was in Colorado working at another taxidermy shop. Good luck getting your trophies back.

usa-people-search.com lists 100 Ronald Newmans, including a Ronald S. Newman, 72 years old, in Florida. None listed in Colorado.

Zola: I went to the site and read thru the 13 pages of posts that ended in late 2011. I knew he scammed several people but not to that extent. I met Ron through SCI and quite frankly he duped me as well, I should've seen it coming.
The saddest part is he knows the law well enough to know the people he screwed back east need a lawyer from Col. Sprs. to take him to court which entails retainers ,etc. which I did and he produced one sorry looking warthog mount that has since cracked at three places. as for my kudu, 1 in a lifetime, nothing. To go farther with the suit against him would entail another $6000 or so an frankly it is not worth the trouble, I have since used that cash to go back to Africa and enjoy another safari.
Ronald S Newman is a piece of shit has always been a piece of shit and will always be a piece of shit. His family whom used to lurk here still defend this asshole.

I met Ron here and met face to face in Reno SCI. We were planning to hunt NZ togeather but after spending a couple of days with him at SCI I made sure our schedules would nevere agree re the hunt. I did the hunt alone and to the best of knowledge he never did hunt with Gerald. I guess I was just lucky.

When I foolishly thought he was decent enough man I would make it a point to sit with him at SCI meetings and such. During that time he approached me about going with him for elephants in Zim. and the NZ red stag trip too. Just from the way he spoke I knew he didn't have the cash to do either an was dreaming.
Turns out he met some woman from Colorado thru an internet singles site, flew out to met her then moved in with her for a few months until both she and the taxidermist whom he got a job with saw him for what the shit bag he is. She booted him an the taxidermist kicked him out so he started to travel to N.M. to do construction work. The scum has big balls 'cause once he was contacted by my lawyer he called me an invited me out to hunt with him...imagine that, he stole my animals and my $2000 deposit then has the balls to tell me to go hunting with him.
