I want to give a little WARNING about booking a hunt with a farm named Leopard Lodge.
They don´t send you your trophies as promised. Not at all it seems though several contacts with the family Mueller.

Okay, how about a few more details. What taxidermy or Namibian shipper is involved?

Is this the farm also known as Otjinuki? I think Kurt Mueller is the owner?

Details and a bit of grammar would go a long way in getting your message out.

I have no problem with asking for additional details but why jump on this guy?

Asking for details is great, but acting like a little _____ is not.

Acer, sorry if I read your post wrong. From where I sit the tone felt a bit "off". If someone is trying to warn us of an outfitter that does not take care of his clients after he has collected their money we should commend him, not attack him.

Bad outfitters should be named and shamed.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Sorry if I touched a nerve. What part of the title relates to the post? Does it indicate that the OP is not serious? The alleged action is not serious? Not forwarding trophies isn't serious?

This isn't a twitter account and you can use more than 50 characters if you ARE SERIOUS about warning someone - otherwise it looks like some 10 year old found a new forum.

The "not serious" added in the title certainly raises questions as to what is meant.

This is not known as Leopard Lodge.

What are you trying to say? The title "not serious" means what? Who is this and what exactly has happened?

Looks like the outfitter is not serious in the "after the shot" department.

Ive just done a Google search for "leopard lodge" in Namibia. Leopard Lodge hunting
not sure who the owners are but they are are NAPA members.
Im assuming you have tried to get this resolved directly with the outfitter first ??
If still no joy try contact NAPA
good luck

JMK, if you want to warn the AR community about a potentially crooked operator then do us all the service of detailing the issue with some facts and figures. Failure to do so places you rather than the operator in a poor light. Your comments have the potential to do someone's reputation and business harm. To my mind this is not something that should be done in an offhand or frivolous fashion.

What proof do some of you need.
If this lodge do not ship the trophies as they promised it is proof enough.
And then they are a shame for the profession and shall not be considered as serious outfitters.

Can you tell us how long the trophies have been delayed? Could it be the taxidermist or dip and pack company that is the problem? Are you having the taxidermy done there in Namibia? Anything special being done to your trophies at the taxidermist/D&P?

Any of this can add time to the delay and are out of the operators control.

Not defending anyone, just curious, that's all.

They are 5 (five) months late, soon 6 (six) and then it seems to be forever.
If promised delivery in march-april, I believed they meant it.
Nothing special ordered to do with them.

And they don´t give any straight answers either why the delay, many times don´t even bother to answer.

I do not like this kind of "business".

In my world: Spoken word and a handshake should be enough to be able to trust each other.
