A Visit With Old Friends
Roy, Rene and Alan came over to spend a few days with us.

The visit was far too short, and they have flown back home, with the promises that we will see them in 5 month's time in the Selous.

We shot lots of rifles and pistols. Even Hessa joined in and loaded some ammo for Roy to shoot.

Hessa and Rene in our underground shooting room.

Both Roy and Alan enjoy shooting pistols, and this is the selection they made to try.

Alan and Roy trying a new rifle I built. It is based on a Hall action, single shot, in 308 Winchester with a tight neck.

We think Alan has fallen in love with Hessa's dog, Sassy.

Great pics Saeed! Glad to hear you had a great visit, which is pretty evident by the smiles. Smiler Hessa sure has grown in only about 7 months!

This year will be the 31st year since I started hunting with the Vincents.

And I have known Walter for longer than that.

And as you cam imagine, when old friends who have known each other for so long, there is lots of things to talk about.

Saeed,

It looks like you all had a wonderful time.... and what a beautiful relationship with the Vincent's...31 years that's a lot of time to build a relationship....and the type of relationship judging by the smiles by everyone in the photos show forth much peace and happiness and contentment.

Thanks for sharing!
I salute you all tu2

Lovely pics....I bet Walther has had an influence with the selection of handguns....very Teutonic you might say.....I bet he grins slyly to himself when he is fondling that old P08.....and mumbling something like "ha ha ze British could never have put togetzer sometzing perfekt like tzis..."

The old Lugers ARE put together very nice....I still have fond memories of a 1915 DWM Luger..
