Tried this on the Big bore forum, but no reply so far. Perhaps some of you guys or gals know the answer. I´m looking into a used Ruger Magnum Rifle in 375 H&H from 1998/99. Will this rifle have the heavy barrel profile, or the slimmer one which came after some years? The seller live quite a distance from me so I have no way to check the rifle myself. Arild Iversen. | ||

All I can tell you is I have a 375 that I bought in 99 and it is .752 at the muzzle. With the barrel band swivel. Mike | |||

If it has a barrel band instead of the front sling swivel in the stock, it will have the lighter contoured barrel. Dr.C At Home on the Range-Texas Panhandle | |||
