Russell E. TaylorSAA Giving Away 30 Pairs of Tickets in 30 Days
No sweat, Mike. I knew you didn't mean anything.
On a side note, those urinalysis tests are awful. Of course, they can't tell you ahead of time they're going to do it, or people wouldn't show up. So, they lay it on you at morning formation.

With the standard spiel about "flesh, fluid, and plastic."

They keep you in the drill hall for hours, because it takes so long to run people through.

(Also, most people "take care of business" when they first wake up, so there's "nothing left to donate," so to speak, when they announce the test.) Coffee is instantly made available... for its, um, "medicinal qualities"

in supporting the cause at hand... and then, after a while, there is no end to the number of eager volunteers to be "NEXT!" However, the speed of the testing doesn't change, so then you have a LOT of people in agony, waiting...

and waiting...

and waiting...

and WAITING!
All in all, it's a pretty grueling way to start a day.
Ah, yes... your tax dollars at work.

Russ

lhondaNot much land to hunt, and not a whole lot there to chase outside of deer, small game and various birds, but that blanket statement's not true. It also has a whale of fishing opportunities.
Just clearing that up a bit for my non-Yankee counterparts.

Groove BulletsKathi,
Since you brought this to our attention, if I win 2 tickets, you get one of them.
Don

On 7/4/04 AR member Robert Johnson in Alaska posted that he was a winner of two tickets in the SAA giveaway. However, his name is not listed on the winners list posted on their website.
What's the story?
