I like to use one gun for everything. My .375H&H will be shot with one load 300 gn at about 2550 fps. shoot it a lot & all the time. The drops not bad even at 300 yards. I'm thinking along the same lines for a ladies gun. But with 2 loads a light load and heavy. The big thing is a cartridge with some character. What's the specs on the .318 WR? Actually the 9.3x62 is probably the most practical, plentiful brass good bullet selection, legal for most anything, has history.Any thoughts on unusual and interesting African cartridges? Allen

My wife shoots a Winchester Featherweight 270 cal with the stock cut for a woman. The gunsmith fitted the stock for her and she handles it well. The recoil has never been a problem and she's shot game over the years.
She really likes the gun.

Less than .375H&H.

Lots of woman hunters can handle a .375.

That's the easy part. You have to find the right woman first.
