Hello, I would like to get some advice on a PAC hunt I'm considering in Namibia. Due to the current permit situation, there is no way to get an export permit for a PAC leopard this year. If there are excess permits in the future and I could find someone willing to let me use one, would it be legal to export(& import into the US) the PAC animal taken this year? If it is I might have the skin tanned and just wait to see if I can get it out in a few years. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Mymur, Sorry for the BAD news but there are no way you can export that leopard EVER... With the new tag laws you need to take a picture with the tag, hunter and guide after the hunt with the cat with out that picture you can not export a leopard EVER.... There are many other things in the new law that I will explain on a later stage but you can not will not ever beable to export such a leopard. If a guide tell any of you that it would be possible you are in for a BIG surprise....
