I did it! This one-horned cow has a poachers bullet through its head, explaining its bad temperament, but going at discounted price. We sneaked to with 15 yards and I placed my arrow in its heart. Ollie had no need for the use of his 375. Great experience, unbelievable thrill, never had buck-fever like that! Lochi.

Stupid of me not to remove the arrow before the photo session I suppose thats typical of a varmint hunter only used to killing dassies and jackal. To add to insult, it now looks like a headshot, hey Nitrox? Jean, Ill try to post the picture of the 140+ gr one-piece broad heads that my knife maker friend made especially for this occasion. There was not even a nick on it, in fact it is still sharp enough to kill a kudu. If you are serious about getting such broad heads, contact me and I can have Oliver make you some. Total arrow weight was 602 gr. Mpumalanga Natcon requires at least 80 ft.pds kinetic energy for buff. To ensure that you dont cheat with light arrows (square of speed as we know), they also specify a minimum of 600gr for the projectile. They further advise 80 pds draw weight for the bow, which turned out to be matching those figures. I took ordinary Gold Tip carbons and inserted plastic pipes. I suppose fine salt would have done the job too, but I wanted to be fancy and with-it for once. Lochi. Here goes with that pic posting effort. If all else fails, Tonto will post it for me
