Ladies and Gentelman,

Firstly I must apologise for not being able to post the winners name yesterday as promised. I had a crisis on my ranch with a pump that broke down, and water running all over the show.....

But here we are now.......like all the entrants, the following person indicated that he can and wants to hunt AFrica this year, that he has got the financial means to do so, and the he has got " permission" from the "powers be" to undertake this trip!

The winner of the 2010, Infinito Safaris, annual lucky draw, South African hunt is:

Jeroen Vermeiren - a.k.a. Nitehawk

Congratulations Jeroen, we look forward to hosting you on a PG hunt of a lifetime.

Thank you to all the entrants, and maybe you have better luck next year.

Regards,

Oh man, what a rush! Thank you!!

And because it's my first ever African hunt, I will need all the AR members experience to help me on my way. In return, I promise to write an elaborate trip report with lots of pictures.

Gun Control - A theory espoused by some monumentally stupid people; who claim to believe, against all logic and common sense, that a violent predator who ignores the laws prohibiting them from robbing, raping, kidnapping, torturing and killing their fellow human beings will obey a law telling them that they cannot own a gun.

Fantastic!! I've yet to go, but am impatiently waiting for the economy to be ressurected.

Look into the eyes of those that have gone. They talk to you however they are seeing, feeling and breathing Africa.

That's a disease I look forward to getting.

Another Congrat's to both Nitehawk for winning and Charl for sponsoring this incredible event.
Only one thing though, beware Nitehawk, this may be your first, but not your last. You will catch the incureable disease "gottagobacktoafrica", which there is not cure except to return for a booster shot.
Listen to your PH and shoot straight!

Ladies en Gents,

Jeroen indicated that he is coming, and added some animals that would like to hunt to his prize. We all look forward to giving the experience he deserves, and you are welcome to read his report on his return, which he surely would post. We are sorting out diaries, but all indications are there that it will happen sometime in October this year.

Ryan, I'm leaving for Niassa on 16 March if all goes well for one month. I have to go and kill some problem Ellie', hippo and croc. It realy is a bummer to be a problem control officer! Big Grin

Will give full report when I'm back.

Now I'm off hunting a Buffalo with a good friend and client from the U.K. next to the Kruger....so CHEERS folks!
