PeglegAaron- My thoughts are with you for a quick and healthful recovery. You are a great example of why even the healthiest looking man needs to see the doctor on a regular basis. You have always struck me as a man's man. The ticker is nothing to ignore. Get well soon.

Aaron NeilsonFriends, thanks a bunch for your support. Nice to see and makes a guy feel good.
I did in fact have a heart attack! I had two blocked arteries, including a 100% blockage of my right coronary artery!
They cleaned me out and put in 3 stints! Tired and sore now, but feeling better. I was shocked at 43 to have this problem, but I did. Time for some additional life changes.
Thanks again to you all!!!!

TWallAaron,
I'm glad to hear you are doing well and were close to advanced cardiac care when you needed it. It is pretty amazing what can be done today with minimally invasive procedures. Stents are wonderful little devices.
I hope to read more of your hunt reports in the near future.

LR3Great to hear you are better Aaron. Make sure you cardiologist does a streess test for you in a couple of months to make sure the stents stay open...better to find that out then than on the next tough hunt! Good luck and speedy recovery.

TexKDBest wishes for a speedy recovery.
About 15 years ago a friend of mine, when we were hmmmm yes 43 years old, had a similar event. He didn't call me to come to the lake like we had set up at lunch on Thursday and I called his office on Monday morning. They said at his Drs appointment on Friday he went straight to the surgery. He had wanted to go fish and then do the surgery on Monday. The Dr said you probably won't see Monday without it. He is still doing good today.

Aaron NeilsonDoing ok Bwana, just waiting to get into Cardiologist. At my sister's house now, resting and walking around a bit - hoping I'll be back in the mountains soon. I have a great deer tag here in CO in November, and a great elk hunt in NM - in November too. Hate to miss them if possible.

You'd be correct Cecil. Wish you were around this year. Tell Sonny we said hi. Timing is an interesting thing. We got to the area you hunted last year a day early and then learned about Aaron's event. We beat feet to Pueblo to visit him in ICU and the bugger walked out the hospital the same day we saw him. Amazing. We headed back to the ranch and found a volunteer Pronghorn for the freezer.
Might make it down your way sometime after the New Years
Cheers
Jim & Joyce
