That's a good story about not telling the PH that you were down to 2 solids. I did a similar thing once with my 577. ( Sometimes telling a PH only what he wants to hear is not lying. lol)

65 yds with a pistol is a real decent shot!

I am always impressed with what a big flat nosed bullet will do. I spent years believing that if a bullet wasn't a spitzer at high velocity it wasn't a good thing. I had lots to learn.
Since I got into buffalo hunting I re-educated myself about big calibers, bullet design and velocity, and your experience is a perfect example.
And you obviously make a good bullet!
