We are going to be hunting with Adam Clements in the Masailand area of Tanzania from November 15th thru December 8th and I was wondering what the weather will be like at that time of the year. Thanks Jim

Jim I'm going to be in Lobo in December '09 myself with a couple of clients so I asked this very question just yesterday. Expect 90 plus at midday and cooling down to 70's at night. You should have some rainn and that is a good thing as it will bring the animals out of Tarangire and will bring down the temp also. Hope you also booked a tour to take in the Crater as it should be a Wonder of the World. Mark MARK H. Boy are you one lucky guy - going with mark young - as I understand it when you get into a camp with mark there are dancing girls, servants at every corner, the finest in wines and liquors etc. meals are flown in daily from some 5 star chefs. etc.

Yup that's the way he treated myself and my wife-nice to know he treated you as well. I was starting to feel that he had went out of his way but now I understand that's just who he is! As he knows when he comes here for his hunt next year we will surely exeed those rather ordinary standards. HMMMMM! Bob Clark

I hunted Lolkisale and Lobo in 2003 during the same time frame... mid to late November and we had hot, dry days in the mid-90's. Nights would cool down to mid-60's to low-70's. We hunted mornings and afternoons and got out of the sun from 11 to 2. Unfortunately we never got any of the short rains... but we had a great hunt in a beautiful part of East Africa regardless! On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
