Just got in from Sci. I saw 577 nitros
577 Searcy that he use to own. heh
Butch did a very fine job on the 577. The wood work is really nice. I spent most of my day getting my Zambia trip in order. Didn't see any accurate reloading shirts today. Maybe I'll run into you all tomorrow. Jorge I'll get your cape buff movie from John tomorrow along with his new promo cd and fed ex to you.

Thanks for the update. From the pictures I've seen, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a great firearm! When we're at DSC, I'm going to make sure that my friends in the DRSS (and other fine AR members) are allowed to hold that monster...

I would love to see a pic or two. If you don't want to post them, send them to hawk_paul@bah.com and I'll post them.

Thanks,

Yes, thank you very much for doing this. I loved seeing the pics of Butch's new "Classic" rifle.

I was trying to see if you caught any of our .577 in the background, but didn't see anything Frowner

CC, great job, the flavor of the convention is captured and SCI membership will swell due to your efforts! You have captured a small piece of "Harry" from the tuffpak booth I see. You were swampd with envious customers buying your VHS/DVD's and I can only comment on your size... I was going ot post a comment on seeing celebrities such as H. Norman S., and Ted Turner walking about and more importantly Mr CC Hunter AKA chief Longboat oarsman, but the thought of a broadsword severing my spine preculded that. Well done sir.

Her's another update, I just got escorted off the floor! Mad

I didn't break anything nor did I misbehave.

But old Bush was on the floor. Bush senior doesn't want press around. So out I went, escorted all the way from isle 600 or so to the pressroom. They want me to stay there till further notice.

Just to tease them I think I'll go and walk around a bit anyway!

Come visit me in prison! Big Grin

Christer: Pleasure meeting you and getting chance to visit. We had a great time at the show, and David (Riverman) and I managed to book our two leopard hunts for next year! Got back safe and sound to the snow country, but sure miss being at the show. Looking forward to watching your DVD this weekend.

Thanks a whole bunch for organizing the dinner. It was a blast. While I met some really nice people there and put faces on some posters, you have to go down in history as one of the truly nice people I have met. Safe trip home, my friend.

Thanks for the pics and some small feeling that we know what's going on there!! If you haven' I suggest you go by and meet D'Arcy Echols, he is a straight shooter, if you aska question he'll tell you exactly what he thinks. Shares a booth with Campbell Smith, a PH whom I spoke with some and liked but have not heard mentioned on here before. Also stop by D'Arcy's palls booth, Gene Semillion, last year he had a stock blank there that was 1500 dollars and it is the only time I have ever seen a piece of wood and thought, wow, if I had 1500 dollars I'd buy it!!!! he is also a nice guy.

Christer,

I too have to thank you for all your work getting this thing together. I have made some realy good friends on AR, it was excellent to have the time to spend with some of them, a few in particular, spent a few breakfasts together. This group made the convention for me. Thank you!

And I couldn't forget the "Little Round Buddy"

Well I had a great time in Reno, and really enjoyed meeting all of the AR gang. Dinner was great, and the picture of the Big Viking and me is a terrific memory for me. Since I'm a Swede also, maybe I'll change to the "Little Viking" just when I'm around Christer... hope to see you guys in Dallas...
