Lone Star should hire GW as an advertising consultant.

Well now I have to check all the local outlets for Lone Star. Been years since I had my hands on a half-dozen. We have a Lowe's here and the chain being based in Littlefield, TX, they surely ought to have it in stock.
Lane, I didn't realize this meant so much to you.

Hi Bill,
It’s not really that big of a deal...I have just always thought the National Beer of Texas ought to be a refreshment at a Texas function...especially one that changes its labels every fall to commemorate hunting season.

Lone Star Beer is damn near non-existent in Oklahoma...will be interested to hear if you find it in New Mexico.

What says hunting and Texas better than a camo can of Lone Star Beer!

Lone Star Beer and Bob Wills music. Cool

I have a bottle of LSB, the cap is Lone Star light. I saved it from my wilder days. If we ever meet, I'll give it to you.

They had the longnecks at Lowe's here in Alamogordo, so I am set. Grilling a T-bone this afternoon.
In fact, here is my talentless riff on Geedubya's favorite tableau.

Lane, I thought it was a good, solid, drinkable lager with nicely balanced flavors and a cut above the competition. Not a craft beer, but worth asking for. I'll be keeping it in my fridge.

Pretty much my assessment as well. At $19/24 it is my staple day-to-day drinking beer.

Exercise you brain while drinking beer. My friend from south Africa brought his wife over and she took a while bag of caps home with her, gonna make a table or something. I keep a bowl at the bar full of the caps when people are over and were standing around at the bar someone is always digging through em.

The union broke Lone Star in San Antonio. That's probably why it's on the current label. Bastards.

We used posters of the original brewery with the doors chained shut when it came to a union vote in our shop. Our men voted "No". Cool
