My original leopard cites permit has been lost by FedEx. The Coppersmith guy says they will only release with the original with the pink stamp. I have copies of course, but copies allegedly aren't good enough. Any suggestions?

you have to contact USFWS and request the proper application form to get a new permit( very time consuming but the only way i know to get a shipment cleared). the inspector at the port of entry MUST have the original permit.

Call Carol Rutowski at Coppersmith and get her to help you with it. She may be able to make some contacts and speed up the process for you. She posts here on AR as, I think, Trophy Queen. I would certainly get her involved.
