Hi guys,
I will go for my first Africa hunting trip to Zimbabwe in October, Dande North area. No doubt I must take antimalaria drugs. Could you write me what type of inoculation needed in this area?
Thanks
Petr

You'll find lots of choices and you'll find them all here: http://www.shakariconnection.c...lth-before-hunt.html

I'd also recommend consulting a proper travel clinic to discuss it with a properly quaified person.

These other links might also be of help: http://www.shakariconnection.c...lth-during-hunt.html

Hope that helps.

The CDC here in the USA publishes information of the kind you are seeking.

I recently went through the process of getting shots for my trip to Namibia. You need to make sure that you understand the costs associated with the medical providers that you consider. I had no idea that a local travel medical agency would cost as much as it did. Had I utilized the agency for all of my shots and meds, I would have been out almost $1000.

Talk to your Dr and call your local county medical department. Also, the earlier you start the process the better.

I got my polio shot from them. The problem was the result of a serious miscommunication between my wife and her friend that was the RN at the travel clinic. I never dreamed that the travel clinic costs would have been so salty. Lesson learned.

Follow melexma's recommendation. The CDC is the authority on what is needed.
