I compiled the films you sent with my list and used the long list by Tendrams. I didn't number them to make additions easy.
Cheers and enjoy.

We were working on THIS at the same time you were working on your list & I think we've probably both missed a few. Wink

Our list (etc) is restricted to sub saharan Africa & we've put up a few clips etc to watch direct from the site..... Including the entire, original 1937 version of King Solomon's Mines & if anyone out there is a Dodge fan, they might especially enjoy the 5th clip down which is about the making of the 1950 version of King Solomon's Mines......... As far as I'm aware, Dodge didn't use any of that footage in their advertising but they surely missed a golden opportunity by not doing so.

AAACK! You left out "The Southern Star," with George Segal, Ursula Andress and Orson Welles with his "personal proclivities."

I thought some of you might like to know that you can download software from www.slysoft.com which one can use to copy these DVDs to your hard disk.

It beats having to watch inflight entertainment on long flights when you have your own on your laptop.

I watched this documentary a couple of years ago and found it pretty interesting.

Running the Sahara is a 2007 documentary feature film that chronicles Ray Zahab, Charlie Engle, and Kevin Lin's attempt to run across the entire Sahara desert. They traveled a total of 6920 kilometers reaching the Red Sea on February 20, 2007.
Producers Marc Joubert, Keith Quinn, Larry Tanz and director James Moll filmed on location in Africa across six countries: Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Libya, Egypt. Prepare2go.com supported the film crew with the logistics throughout.
