For anyone interested, I just posted one in the classifieds. Thanks.

Aren't you the one that dropped that charging cow with a .375? If so, how could you try to sell it now?

Will,
Different gun! Actually I dropped that cow with a Davenport .416 Rigby... I guess it happened about a year between my ele hunt with Buzz and his narration on the DVD and he made a mistake in calling it a .375. But I have three custom .375's and need to make room for a new project. You know how that goes... always bigger better, etc... the American way. Wink

Russell,

How did you find the metal butt plate? Looks classy but how did it feel and function? I have a client looking for something right along the lines of your rifle.

Whew! That's a load off my mind. I figured that cow dropped too quick for a 375. Smiler

I have yet to convince Jason Brown that a 375 is too little. He is resisting.

I'm going to smack Buzz next time I see him. Wink

Absolutely beautiful... but impractical on a .375! When I shoot it I put on one of those ugly pull-over recoil pads. Funny story, I took it to my gunsmith who is an old ACGG guy and asked him to take it off and put on a Decelerator, you would have thought I insulted his mother! He told me about the hand work it took to put in on... it has the widow peak at the top... He was the one who suggested the Limbsaver pullover.

The recoil is not that bad without the pull-over pad in reality.

Actually I think Buzz was confused because I carried a .375 on my hunt with him in the Save Conservancy last July.
