I'm trying to get some ammo to a PH in the Save Conservancy. (If you've been to Zim, you know how expensive it can be - not to mention difficult to find.)

Anyway, if someone is headed over and doesn't mind taking a couple of boxes of 375 ammo along, please PM me.

I am not going to Save soon, but if I were I would offer to take cash for you so that the PH can buy ammo. The 11 pound ammo allowance is so tight that it is hard to convince guys to give up part of that allowance for someone else's ammo unless a spouse or observer is going along.

Out of curiosity, what do you figure a box of say 375s weigh? I have no idea.

I've never been checked.

Do they consider the wieght of the ammo exclusively, i.e.: do they boxes of ammo on a scale?

Midway's website says 2.0 pounds.

100 rounds of .375 H&H/300 grain cartridge are very close to the 5 Kg limit (11.02 pounds).

I leave Tuesday to hunt with Jumbo Moore, however I'm traveling alone and already am over my ammo limit at 12 pounds.

If I had someone going with me as an observer I could work it out but traveling alone, my hands are kind of tied.
