Well Boddington or Hemingway it ain't, and I always think the articles are better before they are edited, but I enjoy writing them as my way of capturing and re-living the experience. Thanks for the kind words.

The Anchorage Barnes & Noble was still waiting for their shipment the last I checked. I'm looking forward to reading your article. What country is featured this time?

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Mike,
No wonder you were so vigorously defending PHC... so your a budding author?

Seriously, have my copy at home and look forward to reading the exploits you and Buzz shared in the bush. Congrats!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

The damn Anchorage Barnes and Noble isn't going to get it in after all. Are there any other stores that sell it? I suppose I'm going to have to subscribe now.
