Just a special thanks to Kathi for keeping updated on the SAA strike. I'll got my youngest daughter in summer school in RSA and was very much appreciated to know how she's getting home again.

I must say thanks also even thought I have not used your service I really appreciate the information. I am still caught on the flight cancellation to Vic Falls but with what some of these folks have been thru I am sure that I will survive. Thanks again for a super job.

Might be worth remembering that SAA does not have a monopoly, there are other choices and also Emirates via Dubai ... it all depends upon you specific requirements with lay overs or other

Qatar Airways currently flies an Airbus A330-200 between Paris and Doha in a three-class configuration of First, Business and Economy, featuring a state-of-the-art interactive inflight entertainment system.

The airline operates scheduled flights from its hub in Doha to 53 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Indian sub-continent and the Far East.

Over the next three months, Beijing, Seychelles, London Gatwick, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Yangon will be added to the network, increasing Qatar Airways’ global reach from 53 to 59 destinations, and enhancing its status as one of the fastest growing airlines in the world.

By the end of 2005, Qatar Airways will serve at least 70 destinations, including North America and Australia.

Just out of interest did you all know Air France flys a lot between Johannesburg and many North American cities
