was just thinking of something in way past years. it was in RSA when wild lions did exist. My PH Fred Maaris was telling me about one hunt he had in the transvaal for lion. they had a spainish fellow for a client and they had staked a goat out for bait. Dark came and they heard the lion kill the goat. After waiting the specified length of time fred flicked on the light, but nothing was in view. the lion had pulled the goat, stake and all out of sight. they could hear him munching on the goat just beyond view. The client had a suggestion - he said - fred send your tracker out there and pull the goat back so i can shoot the lion. Fred turned to jimson his tracker and repeated what the client had told him. Jimsons eyes got as big and dinner plates. Boss you can fire me, you can shoot me, but there's no way i'm going out there with that lion.

That's funny! Whether he said it in jest or in all seriousness, that is funny. Makes me think the guy wasn't much of a hunter? Reminds me of a Goose hunt I did in college. Hunting with a guy who was not really a hunter, we could not get the Geese to land. He looked at me and in all seriousness said, "We should have brought some bread."
