One of the problems is that there is no practical way to appeal the decisions of the bozos at the airport, in time to do any good. But some of the other stuff I am hearing suggests that the ones in charge are no better. | ||

OldSarge, I agree with most of your post. However, if you try to take ANY semi auto-rifle or handgun into SA, IT WILL BE HELD AT THE SAPS OFFICE IN THE AIRPORT UNTIL YOUR DEPARTURE. Period. NO exceptions. This is clearly stated in the new regs. If you take a revolver, put a scope on it and hope for the best. | |||
