Walter Shooting The 700 Nitro Express I was doing backup on our hard disks and came across this old video of Walter trying to kill an old hard disk with the 700 Nitro Express. Of course, Walter has to do it his own way. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting Saeed. Looks like fun. I too have a "dangerous hard drive" that needs adjustment. I am a little afraid to release it from the tower as it may charge. I have a 600 Overkill, will it be sufficient to do the job? I have fired 700 from a double. It was cool. The action for your 700 is a beast! What kind of action is that? Hilarious. Walter is quite the ham. Did you load it with a stiff 16 guage powder charge with extra wads to push that 1000-grainer to a two-foot midrange trajectory over 100 yards? 50BMG single-shot bolt action from Ferlach, Austria, eh? http://www.accuratereloading.com/700ne.html Lessee now, where is that video of the gunsmith who built it shooting a real load? In "Champions?"

The action is a 50 BMG single shot action. The load was 58,000,000 Micrograins of a UNIQUE powder. We are not telling anyone of our secrets!

As usual, if you don't have a good hit in the kill zone, you only wound it...or maybe I am not as familiar as I should be with hard drive kill zones? .395 Family Member DRSS, po' boy member Political correctness is nothing but liberal enforced censorship

Saeed, how many pounds of copper and lead do you reckon is buried in your shooting range? You should have a guessing contest. Walter is a riot! On my "bucket list", is I'd like to meet the pair of you.

We use sand bags for bullet stop at the end of the range. We change them a few times a year. All AR members are welcome to our range. I have a video of Walter being himself on safari. Roy shot a buffalo, and had his forehead cut by the scope. Walter arrived, and of course used that opportunity to make as much fun of Roy as he could. I will post that video tomorrow.
