Pic of Ray's buffalo trophy from Australia's NT, where he visited after shooting up the Tanzanian concession, 2003. Ray tells me his outfitter has many bigger bulls but he shot this one "cuzz it was handy".

Sir,
you will neva, ah says neva, see such a large scope on any rifle of mine!

I started to deny such sinfull expression as you have put forth but decided to just take credit for the whole bloody
show!

As usual Nicko, you have exhibited your ability to perform miricles, so wheres my grandsons bison?

BTW, I have taken on Pen De Vires from Zimbabwe, who after his land was siezed, moved to Australia and set up a Safari company African style...It should be a great hunt on 500,000 acres of outback with literally hundreds of huge buffalo, pigs, roos, bird hunting and wild cattle...He comes highly recommended by some very good PHs and clients..

Ray,

Grampa & Grandson were posted 5 minutes after receipt of your photo(?) Did you check page two? You're gonna make the same list as JudgeG if you're not careful.

The real question is why did he gut-shoot the thing? Was Ray attempting to pull a Sullivan?

Happy New Year, ZERO!

Ray says, the shot was perfect, as "the heart is a touch further back on waterbuffalo" and all he could see was hair with that scope, anyways, as he forgot it was on 48x.

Good luck to the fellow. Hope he makes a success of it.

Better future in the NT in the long run I think than either Zim or South Africa.

Where in the Top End will he be hunting?

I don't know why we (ie Australia) don't just let all the ex-Zimos in here, there is only a hundred thousand or so and many of them are good people.

(actually I do know and it is the damned racial politics!)
