The search function on here is great. I remembered a string about Russel boots and went back and found it. It had a lot of good info with out starting a new string about boots. Last night at SCI I won a gift cert. for a pair of PHII and after reading the string I have decided to upgrade to the Mbogo adding the heel counters and brown air bob soles for a couple of extra bucks. Thanks to all that contributed their expereinces with the Russell boot.

Those heel counters are a great idea. I have them on my Russels. I went with the Huez sole, and have found it to be quiet, provide excellent grip on rocks, and lasts forever. I hope you like your Russel's as much as I like mine.
