For AR members following along on the Arica forum on a regular basis you will remember that back in the summer we were pretty excited about Allan Cilliers picking up a concession in the Western Caprivi as it would give us another great area to offer. There was also some discussion about whether or not big elephant and other game were truly there in abundance. Well! Allan just finished his first safari in Kwando with 2 Spanish clients. These guys left after only 6 days of their 21 day safari. They had told Allan they wanted the best animals they could get in the shortest time so he obliged. The 6 day bag: 4 Elephant 65, 63, 57, 53 6 Buffalo with 5 being 38"-39" and one 45" 1 Sable 46" I agree as some I'm sure are thinking that it is almost impossible to believe results like these since this sounds more like a safari from the 1950's than present day. Wow! I don't have any pics at this time but if I can acquire them I'll post ASAP. Allan assured us he will have firm prices for '07 in November. Mark MARK H. Why try to eat a 14 course meal in 15 minutes? I don't understand some people; certainly the concession sounds terrific. analog_peninsula analog_peninsula ----------------------- It takes character to withstand the rigors of indolence.

I absolutely agree! Imagine if they had looked over a few animals what they might have found. MARK H. Sounds more like one of my GF's shopping spree's than a hunt. Impressive nonetheless. Sounds like an exciting place for a buff/ele combo. Cheers, Canuck

Great animals for such a short time. Too bad they didn't want to take in all of Africa and spend the entire time.
