375 fanatic,

Just make very sure that the tanners that you entrust the skins too does a 100.00% good job. Far too often the tails of animals are ruined by an over-hasty machine trimming procedure. Zebra is a prime example. Be warned that the economics of such a venture is not always as rosy as it seems.

If you, despite efforts to sell at good prices, get stuck with skins, send me a PM. I know a guy......

In good hunting.

Rudi,

Watch out for CChunter as nice as it may seem he will tire you, drink all your booze let him take you and himslef to all the hostspot with action town wise.

And when you open your eyes again all 15 zebra will have been shot by him. clap

I suppose I'm a sucker for punishment I just love the Big Viking and let him come back and sometimes more than once each year. jumping

How much will you be asking for each?

I'll be hunting for a Hartmann's in March and my wife wants it shoulder-mounted. I just wanted a rug. Guess who wins? So, if I want a rug this year I might have to take two or pay for one that I didn't shoot.

375 Fanatic - ditto my response with Namibiahunter. I am going to Namibia in late August '08 for PG but will not be hunting Zebra and am interested in a rug.

Put me on your list for a PM as interested.

Will these be mountain zebra, or plains zebra? I'm going after a mountain zebra in Namibia in June, but would also love a plains (I like the shadow stripes) skin/rug as well.

I hope this is cool to tag on here. I am expecting four full skins back from New Method Tannery any day, and I don't have a home for them. I killed them on a lion hunt in Chirisa a couple of years ago. I will probably let them go also as I have a couple of rugs down now.
