The most incredible mount of a Lioness on a freshly killed impala with a Lion running in to take the kill over. It was a huge mount and will need a hell of a trophy room to accommodate it - but probably the best example of taxidermy I've ever seen.....

They had also just taken delivery of a kudu trophy that had been taken in the Vivo area of RSA - They measured it while I was there.....a magnificent 68 inches with 11 1/2 inch bases!

Will they allow taking pictures with a camera? Can't imagine such a mount, gotta see it.

Lo do they call to me,
They bid me take my place
among them in the Halls of Valhalla,
Where the brave may live forever.

Steve,

See if you can get a photo of that mount, and post it. I always enjoy seeing other taxidermy work done good!

I'm sure they would allow me to take pictures but it's such a huge mount I'm not sure that I could get it all in one picture and even less sure that a picture would do it justice.

I'd certainly like to see the trophy room it's going in though - it must be HUGE!

I'll try to go round tomorrow with my camera and see what I can do ......

shakari,

They're doing a full body mount of my big, full maned Namibian lion from last year right now.

I hope he's not the one you saw moving in to take the kill from the lioness!

I better email Yolandi right away . . . Big Grin

Craig,

It'll probably be in the tanks now - but I'll try.

MR

Are you having a fullmount? - One things for sure, you won't be disappointed with the result.

shakari,

Yes, my lion will be a full mount and they're working on several other trophy mounts for me as well right now.

Life-Form has done nearly twenty trophy mounts for me and you are right--they are the best.

I can hardly wait for the next shipment.

Sorry guys,

They had already started to crate the Lions and the kudu was in the tanks. However they have probably taken some pics themselves so I'll try to get hold of one or two of them.
