His obituary needs to be written, cause dumbasses like that generally have short lives.
Can you say "Steve Erwin"?

I think you guys are being too tough on him. He states some very helpful advice in the elephant clip that we can all learn from. "When approaching an elephant always make sure you shoelaces are tied". Double knots for me from here on out!

We could offer odds on this.

By the way, isn't this the guy from hte other video posted in one of the forums a while ago where he catches snakes and puts them down the rabbit holes and catches the rabbit coming out in a net?

If he's alone, who is doing the filming?
I'm betting if an animal went to stomping him some rifles would come out.

Actually, if you look at the guys other videos he seems to know what he is doing with animals, as far as it is possible to "know". My concern is when somebody else thinks that all you guys are liars about the danger and that they can do the same. "Lions know that we are predators and ru.. AAAHHHRRG!"

"I'm not food, I'm a threat".

Great attitude, but I doubt the elephants, buffalo, lion and hippo view it the same way -- let alone the hyenas. If he keeps it up, it remains to be seen.

Well, he is right. The animals in the clips do view him as a threat. His problem will arrive on the day one of those animals decides to deal with the threat. Humans don't run fast enough to outrun any of those animals when they decide they've had enough of this shit. An AK-47 might well kill a lion or buff or elephant. His problem with that for a backup is that it might not be so quick as he needs it or the backup man with the AK-47 might just decide if he can outrun Ucles he doesn't need to stand and shoot and then see if an AK-47 really is enough. Today.

Ah, yes.

It is dumb and dangerous to operate on the theory that God looks out for idiots and fools.

Dumb plus dangerous generally equals dead. shame

To be fair. Steve Erwin got away with this stuff every day for 35 something years before he was killed in a rather freakish accident. Even "Grizzly man" Timothy Treadwell got away with what he was doing for over seven seasons. This guy has been doing this stuff since he was a kid.
I see it as akin to rock climbing, power racing and other potentially dangerous sports. It's not stupidity as much as a chosen risk and the pioneers seldom got old. Spreading false "facts" however, like "lions are always afraid of you" is very dangerous.

The hard time I always have is when one of these jack asses get killed the officials go out and shoot the animals associated in the attack! Like its their fault!

It took Treadwell 13 years actually, to morph into grizzly shit...

true,....early climbers of Everest[Mallory],early grandPrix drivers, adventurous pilots like Amelia Earhart, lead short lives.

Two drivers attempted the world road speed record on Jan 28th 1938, set at 268mph/432kmh - one of them died trying.

Not sure which is worse, watching Ucles or reading the comments for his fans. From some of the other video's on there it seems he is not the only idoit around.
