I came across this picture on the internet and couldn't believe how big this leopard appears to be. Is this possible or do you think it is a fake. If it is real, I think I shot a baby!

Either that photo was taken in the Land of Oz, or that's a monster leopard.

Wow!

My guess is Tanzania. There's a few areas up there that produce some real mucking fonsters...... It's almost like there are two separate sub species. Large & XL. Wink

I've seen that picture on AR before....awesome cat. Must be a genuine 8 foot leopard.

Guys, it NOT fake! It was shot in 2005, in the Kafue's Lunga Luswishi GMA in Zambia, PH Richard Bell-Cross. This cat is Zambia's all-time #1 leopard.

The real shame, the client just made it into a rug!!!!!

On account of the hernia caused by lifting the cat, the hunter wanted no further reminder of how big it was, so rug it was! Big Grin

If that cat is as big as it appears, that guy is much stronger than he looks.

That's sure a monster leopard, looks like a big jaguar, size wise that is. That head is huge.

It surely looks big. if Aaron is correct, I am sure it is.

We had one hit a bait in TZ that had a foot the size of a lioness. Damn I wanted to just see it. Sadly, it never showed in the daylight.

There are still plenty of whooping big leopards out there.
