20 day and counting until we get on the plane to head for Zim for nearly 3 weeks to hunt with CM safaris. We are hunting Chewore South for 2 Tuskless.

We are staying on the Dande side in CM's Mukanga camp but hunting the other side of the river, our PH will be Rich Tabor.

I will post a hunt report with lots of pictures on our return.

With kind regards
Mike

Have a great safari. I've hunted with Rich twice. He's a great PH and WILL put you onto game. He is a walking machine however. You'll not find a harder working PH when it comes to your success.

Tell him I said hello.

Just spent several days in the Pedza camp with Rich, Sara and Sam.

He finished up a great hunt and was embarking on a hunt for trophy ele when I left.

Super nice people, enjoyed their company.

Hunted Chewore South last August for 15 days with CMS and PH Richie Schultz. Bulls weren't plentiful at that time of year but tuskless were very plentiful and I heartily recommend it for tuskless. Rich showed me probably 12-15 tuskless without dependent calves. Saw 4 leopard as well. Had a great time and so will you.

Good luck Mike
Give Rich my regards and have a great hunt.
There should be lots of eles on the Chewore side as I think Mike Jines and Buzz spooked quite a few into that general direction when Mike was looking for his ele bull a few weeks ago.

Chuck, I will say hi for you.

Jdollar, we are hunting for 14 days but with the traveling its more like three weeks!! We are hoping to do some fishing if we finish early on the tuskless. It's not really the right time of year for tigers but we will give it a go. Want to try and catch one on the fly!!

Thanks for all the comments guys.

With kind regards
Mike

I hunted Chewore South with Buzz last November. Needles to say I had a great hunt.

http://forums.accuratereloadin...6321043/m/8151050381

We spotted tuskless nearly every day. I understand that some reason the quota for tuskless is only partly utilized by Chifuti. (Chifuti is the concession holder)
Looking forward to your report.

Good Hunting CF
