i have a plains game hunt booked for Namibia in August this year.
Next year i want to go on a Buffalo hunt. i am looking for any recommendations for places to hunt and time of year. i would like a 7-10 day budget minded hunting opportunity for one or 2 bulls and possibly other animals for trophy fees. i want good representative trophies(don't need monsters).
please let me know your suggestions. thanks!

For what you discribe it would be very hard to beat the Selous in Tanzania. Plenty of buffalo, very wild and you can take two buffalo on a seven day hunt. You might also consider the hunting areas along the Zambezi river of northern Zimbabwe. I think you can also take several buffalo there but it may be a ten day hunt. Either of these areas would be excellent.

Check out our add on this page of the African Hunting Forum. We can provide upto 4 buffalo in Tanzania and 3 in Zimbabwe.

If you'd like more details call or e-mail me.

Mark, I tried to get on your web site a couple of times. All I get is the black screen with the center circle that says "loading" even waiting a long time with a broadband connection.

You did the right thing. Next time you try it I would expect it will work. In the meantime if you have questions just fire away. I probably can help.

I did exactly that last November. Oh my! Every time one of outfitters posts one of these hunts I have to reconvince myself not to do it again this year.

BTW Dean we have another slot for this year with your name on it. I think you'd enjoy this even more.

That worked last year, but not this timeSmilerSaving the money and the holidays for a longer trip in '08. Though, if I had the holidays, I'd be tempted to tack on some more hunting after my PG hunt in Namibia this June.
