Piet,
Welcome to the forum. I assume from your name that you are a ph for ZUKA Africa safaris?

You may or may not know that there has been past discussions on this forum about some trophy photos on the ZUKA website; specifically one of a female sable taken in 2004 with another ZUKA ph and of a very young male lion taken in 2003 of which you were one of the PH's.

You may review the thread by doing a search for "WOULD YOU SHOOT THIS LION" and "WOULD YOU SHOOT THIS SABLE".

I am sure many of the members here would be interested in knowing your comments.

Happy hunting!

Dear Readers
As a fulltime PH's hunting 7 months of the year with clients one are about to make mistakes Yes I had shot the lion it was a BIG mistake and one that im not proud of this also give ammo to the anti hunting lobby. There are so many PHs in the business that make mistakes like this but no one hear about it only us in the hunting industry now about it. Unfortunately this photo of the lion was put on the web page of Zuka. (Not my doing) I had left Zuka Safaris and is not part of there operation any more.

As far as the sable is concern I dont want to comment, as I wasnt there and dont know anything about it.

Best regards
Piet

Hey Piet,
Shit Happens...even to the best of us. Its just a shame that sometimes certain people almost seem to get pleasure out of seeing other people make mistakes...

Often just in a pitiful attempt to make up for their own inadequacies...
